Albert J. Nunez (Albie) - 81, formerly of Bayonne, passed away at his home in Alpharetta, Georgia surrounded by family on Friday, December 28, 2012 after a lengthy illness. A construction worker by trade, Albert was a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteer at First Christian Church in Cumming, Georgia. For Albert, family always came first. He was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. Charitable and giving to others in need, he enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and had a love for animals and making people laugh. Predeceased by his parents Albert Sr. and Philomena, Albert is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Candita (nee: Travelino); his loving daughters Elena Marie Fetch (Richard), Gabrielle Mason (Mike), and Suzanne Watson (Bobby); siblings Anna King and Michael Nunez (Alice). Albert is also survived and cherished by his grandchildren, Kimberlee, Eric, Andrew, Anthony, Gianna, Amanda, Samantha and great-granddaughter Madeline. He will be greatly missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 12th from 11 AM - 2 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home in Bayonne. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Albie's memory to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
