REDONDO, Alberto, 90, of Stewartsville, NJ, formerly of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Saturday September 10th at Easton Medical Center, in Easton , PA. Alberto was born in Puerto Rico and had lived in Bayonne for many years before moving to Stewartsville, NJ.in 2008. He worked for Pirelli Cable Company in Bayonne for thirty eight years before retiring in 1978. He also served his country during World War II in the Merchant Marines. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church in Bayonne. Alberto was the beloved husband of Gladys (nee: Jimenez), loving father of Albert, John, Joseph, Louis, Gladys, Maria and Denise. Cherished grandfather to many grandchildren. Dear brother of Raul, Tony, and Felix. He was predeceased by his parents Jose M. and Maria Luisa (nee:Aponte) Redondo, and his brothers Frank and Pepe Redondo.
