PATERNO, Alessando, 36, of Jersey City and Union Beach, passed away suddenly on Sunday March 25th. Alessandro was born in Rome, Italy and has resided in Jersey City for many years. He was a Financial Advisor for the United Nations in New York City. He was a beloved son to Sandro and Falvia (nee: Luberti) Paterno, a cherished  father to Giovanni, a dear brother to Giorgio and his wife Susan and to Andrea Paterno. He was also a loving uncle to Alessandra and Liliana, and a nephew to Roberto.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday April  2nd from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday April 3rd at 11:00am at St. John Paul II Parish (O.L. Mt. Carmel Church). Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church on Tuesday by 10:45am. There is no visitation at the funeral home.
While we greatly appreciate everyone's support in every way, many of you have also contacted us in regards to Alessandro's son Giovanni. Alex did everything for his son, his reason for being. In lieu of any gifts please donate to his college fund. He is looking down on us smiling knowing how much we all care. Envelopes provide at the funeral home, or you may follow the link provided.
