Alfredo Costa Parcero - of Jersey City, formerly of The Philippines, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 19th at Jersey City Medical Center, he was 74.  Born in Imus Cavite, Philippines,  Alfredo was an avid gardener, a wonderful cook, a basketball & boxing enthusiast and a deeply devoted grandparent.  He was the beloved husband to Myrna Lopez, the cherished father to Melvin Parcero and to Jaemy Parcero and her husband Mark Preciados and the devoted grandfather to his "pride and joy" Mirai Jae Preciados. Alfredo was pre-deceased by all of his many siblings except his beloved sister Maria Cora Parcero who survives him along with a multitude of other loving family members and dear friends.  A visitation will be held for Alfredo on Saturday February 25th from 4-6PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne, with a prayer service to be celebrated during the end of visitation.  A Private Cremation will follow.  In lieu of any flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Alfredo's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which can be done through a direct link found by clicking the "Memorial Donations" tab below this obituary.
