Allan Ivan Fabian – of Jersey City, passed away suddenly at his residence with his loved one by his side on Tuesday April 21st, he was 83.
Born in New York City, NY, Allan graduated from Long Island University with the class of 1959 and then served his country in the Army Reserves. After a long career in advertising, including Westinghouse, Texas Instruments and Witco Chemical, he worked as a New Jersey real estate appraiser.
He was the devoted husband to Judith (nee: Baller) Fabian and is survived by his beloved nieces Tamara Daly, Roz Carey and her husband, nephews Eric Lipps and Mark Rosenszweig, and grandniece Taylor Daly, grandnephews Christopher Daly and grandnephew Jesse Rosenszweig and his wife. He is also survived by many other loving cousins and friends.
Allan was a sweet, funny and proud man who was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed telling stories of growing up a City boy, and as a friend wrote: "This is how I'll remember my good pal, Allan. Telling a riveting story with his voice, hands and heart ... We lost a light this week."
Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic a private cremation for Allan was held. A memorial
celebration will be planned for at a later
