ALPHONSO MOSCA, a.k.a (Al),(Frank),(Hotsie), was born in Bayonne, N.J. on October 1, 1917. He was a young 98 years old. Al passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving wife Catherine (Kay), his children and grandchildren on Monday, August 29th, 2016. Al was a decorated WWII Veteran, attached to Patton's Finest 4 ^{th Armored Division. He was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds he received in action between St. Eny & St. Germain-sur-Seves, France, 1944. Additionally he received the distinguished medal of Services from the State of New Jersey. Al was a member of the New York Chapter 4th Armored Division, Charter & Life Member of CWV Post 1612. He retired from the Military Ocean Terminal after 25 years of service. Al is survived for 68 loving years to the former Catherine Cupo of Newark, NJ. Holding dear his memory are his 4 children: RoseAnn Fichman and Ron Thompson , Gerald Mosca and Sarah Pepin, Charlene Bini and husband Bart, Christine Dee and husband Kevin and his 6 grandchildren: Krista Jurs and husband Frank, Bryan Bini and his fiancé Mariarosa Vocaturo, Jacquelyn Mosca, Catherine Dee, Ryan Dee, & Francesca Dee. He is also survived by many loving in laws, nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends. Al's greatest joy was spending family time at his self built summer home at Culvers Lake, NJ. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Friday, September 2, 2016, (2:00 -4:00 pm), (7:00 -9:00) pm, at Migliaccio's Funeral Home, 851 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Bayonne, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Henry's Church in Bayonne on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10:45 am. Interment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge,NJ.}
