CHIMENTO, Altheda, J. (nee: Warman) 92, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Saturday April 12th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Altheda was born in Mauch Chunk, Pennsylvania and has lived in Bayonne for the last 89 years. She worked as a Principal Computer Bookkeeper for the City of Bayonne from 1971 to her retirement in 1986. She was also a member of the Golden Agers, Past President of Bayonne Hospital Volunteers, Rosary Altar Society of Assumption Church, AARP, Boy Scout den mother, Girl Scouts of Assumption Church and a Past President of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, Post 1612. Altheda was a Beloved wife to the late Joseph J. Sr., a loving mother to Joseph J. Jr. and his wife Barbara and to Mary Ann Gilson and her husband John. Cherished grandmother to Stephanie Willix and her husband Jim, Billy, Richard, and Michael Lovero and Christine and Danielle Chimento. Great grandmother to Emma Grace Willix. She was also predeceased by her parents Frederick and Mabel (nee:Johnson) Warman, and her siblings Fannie Nowicki, Mabel Collins, Ruth Fox, Elsie Gordon, and Lester and David Warman. Visitation will be Monday April 14th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, Bayonne. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday April 15th at 8:30 am with a mass being offered at 9:30am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Bayonne. Interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of the Assumption Church Food Pantry. Envelopes provided at the funeral home.
