Campano, Angela (nee: Chirico) - of Bayonne, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday July 9th 2012, she was 87 years old. Born in Ponticello Italy, Angela was proud of her 28 years of service at The Community Day Nursery, a labor of love to decades of children where she was known as "Miss Angel A". Angela was also a proud member of The Our Lady of Assumption St. Ann's Society and Rosary Society. She was a volunteer at The St. Andrew School lunch program, a committeewoman for The Bayonne Democratic Organization, a committeewoman for The Hudson County Democratic Organization and a seamstress for many years at The Lexington Shop on Broadway in Bayonne. Angela was the devoted wife to Raffaelle Campano, beloved mother to son Giacomo and his wife Deanna, daughter Patty and her husband Bill, son Anthony and his wife MaryAnn and son Ralphie. She was also the loving sibling of Enzo, Carlo and Rosa and is survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins both here , in Italy and in France. Special thanks to her Guardian Angel Elyse Bonomo for making her world as happy as she lived it, God has now called Angela to heaven to help him care for his flock. A visitation will be held on Wednesday July 11th from 4-9 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday July 12th at 9:30 AM at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. In lieu of any flowers the family asks that donations be made in Angela's memory to The Assumption Church Food Pantry.
