Simone, Angela Rose - (nee: Femia) passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on December 28, 2011, she was 85 years old. Born on November 17, 1926, Angela was a lifelong resident of Bayonne, NJ. Her parents Domenico and Margharita (nee: Berlingeri) emigrated from Cittanova in Calabria, Italy. Angela is survived by one sister Gerry Gironda and as well as her sister and brother in law Antoinette Femia and Joseph Stolte respectively. Also surviving Angela are her three loving children Alfred and his wife Dr. Marie Simone, Dr. Don and his wife Margaret Simone and John and his wife Christine Simone as well as her nine grandchildren; Lisa Hancock, Christina Kaltsas, Regina, Dante, DANIELLE, Albert, Victoria, Dana and Christopher and her one great grandchild Maximus Hancock. Angela's passion, joy and life centered around her family. She married her late husband Albert Anthony Simone on June 13, 1948 and was also pre-deceased by her brother Joseph Femia and sister Theresa Stolte. Visitation will be today Friday December 30th from 2-4 and 7-9PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday December 31st at 9:30AM at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Bayonne with a burial service to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in N. Arlington. In lieu of any flowers the family requests donations be made in Angela's memory to The BVNA Hospice Program.
