PISCOPO, Anna (nee:Gucciardino), 91, of Bayonne passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday September 13th. Anna, also known as Mamma and Nonna was born in Favara, Italy to the late Antonino and Rosalia (nee:Antinoro) Gucciardino. In August of 1969 her family migrated to the United States and settled in Bayonne, NJ. Anna worked for many years in the dress manufacturing industry, and was a loving housewife who enjoyed cooking, baking and her gardening. Anna was a beloved wife to the late Gaetano, a loving mother to Angela Squillace and her husband Michael, Rosalia Barberi and her husband Nunzio and to Rosaria DiCroce and her husband Franco. She also leaves behind her seven grandchildren Pietro, GraziaAnna (Steve), Maria (Nick), Antonio, Mirella (Fiance, Orlando), Anthony, and Michael and her great-grandchildren Sophia Maria, James Nicholas Nunzio, and Nicholas Santino, who will miss her dearly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Anna was also predeceased by her brothers Salvatore, Antonio, Calogero and her sister Rosaria. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 16th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday September 17th at 12:00pm at St. John Paul II Parish (Mt. Carmel Church), Bayonne, Entombment t to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Friday beginning at 11:00am prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna's memory may be made to the St. Judes Children's Hospital.
