CERBONE, Anthony Louis, 85, of Florida formerly of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Monday December 22nd at the Halifax Health Medical Center in Port Orange, Florida. Anthony was the former President of the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce, a community leader, a businessman and also Chairman of the Junior Achievement Program in Bayonne. He also served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II. Anthony was a beloved husband to the late Margaret (nee:Fraone), a loving father to Anthony Cerbone and his wife Carmella, Marie Cerbone Samarat and her husband Mahmoud, and Debra Cerbone Steiner and her husband Gregory. Cherished grandfather to Adam Samarat, and Anthony and Michael Cerbone. Anthony was also predeceased by his parents Raphael and Marianna (nee:Savo) Cerbone, and his siblings Louis, Joseph, Mary, Rose, and Ralph. Visitation will be held on Friday December 26th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Saturday December 27th at 9:30am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Bayonne. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home by 8:30am on Saturday December 27th, prior to the mass.
