Anthony L. Cortellessa - 89, a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 4th 2015. Anthony served his country proudly as a WWII Army Veteran. He was an avid parishioner to Assumption Parish, a past president of both UNICO and The Bayonne Junior Achievement League and a member of American Legion Post 19. Anthony was the devoted husband to the recently deceased Camille (nee: Dimeck) and loving father to Claudia Kufta and her husband Michael. He was also the beloved grandfather to Anthony and Cassandra Kufta and cherished uncle to Donald, Robert & Louise Sagarino. Surviving Anthony is his sister Katherine Sagarino, as well as a host of other loving relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday November 7th from 9:30 - 10:30 am at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated immediately following at 10:30 am at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with Military Honors to be administered after mass. Private cremation will follow.
