Obituary

CURRAO, Anthony, 87, lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 28th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Anthony worked as a Hi-lift operator for 33 years retiring in 1978 at the Naval Base (M.O.T) in Bayonne. He also proudly served his country in World War II, recieving both the Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Anthony was a member of the VFW, Chapter 1490 in Bayonne, and a life member of the Disabled American Vets. He was a loving father to Lucille De Sarno and Diane Currao-Suslow and her husband Allen. Cherished grandfather to Tara Degnan, Michael Suslow and Christopher Suslow. Dear brother to Lena Mondry. Anthony was predeceased by his Beloved wife Lillian (nee:De Notaris) 1985, his parents Vincenzo and Lucia Currao, and his brother Joseph Currao
