Anthony "Tony Fats" Cimmino - of Brick passed away peacefully with family on Saturday January 28th, he was 84 years old. A long time resident of Bayonne, Tony was a professional welterweight boxer with a record if 26-13-3 and later worked for the Dept. of Public Works in Bayonne. He was the beloved husband to the late Lucille (nee: Cerro) and father to daughter Lynn Marie and sons Joseph and his wife Pat, John and his wife Carol and the late Anthony Cimmino. Tony was also grandfather to Joey, Danielle, Jacqueline Marie and her husband Carlos Castaneda, Michael, Anthony and Andrea as well as great grandfather to Robert Paul and Anthony Brokaw and John Michael and Gino Antonio Casteneda. He is survived by his brother Dominick and sister Marie as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins and was pre deceased by his brothers Joseph and Giro. Visitation will be today Monday from 5-9PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. in Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 10:30AM at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with a burial ceremony to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
