Anthony Robert Fischetti Sr. – of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at his residence with loving family by his side on Sunday May 21st 2023, he was 91.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, Anthony served his country proudly in The US Army and later worked as an accountant for many years at The 1199 Home Care Benefit Fund in New York City before retiring.  He was the devoted husband to the late Adeline (nee: Goncalves) Fischetti, the beloved father to Anthony R. Fischetti Jr. and his wife Joanne and to Christina Fischetti and the cherished grandfather to Thomas Anthony Fischetti, Anthony Robert Fischetti III and Alessandra Rose Fischetti.  Anthony is also survived by his brother, George Fischetti (Rose Ann), brother-in-law Salvatore Goncalves, sister-in-law Mary DeSteno and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.  Visitation is Wednesday May 24th from 4-8PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 25th at 11Am at St. Mary's Church, 326 Avenue C in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10AM.  Interment with military honors will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
