Anthony Mengo - recently of Monroe Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 9th 2014, he was 96 years old. Born in Bayonne, NJ where he lived most of his life, Anthony served his country proudly in WWII and was the beloved husband to the late Estelle (nee: Tarzia) Mengo. Anthony was pre-deceased by his five siblings Joseph Pipolo and wife Grace, John Mengo and wife Rose, Louis Mengo and wife Jean, Susan Kolokowski and husband Walter and Mary O'Hara and husband Paul. His nephew Peter Mengo and his wife Shelley and nieces Cathy Nicoll and Ginny Scaduto and her husband Mike survive him. A visitation will be held at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne on Friday July 11th from 10 - 11 am with a prayer service to be given at the funeral home beginning at 11am.
