Obituary

Anthony L. Squillante Sr., a man remembered for his kindness and welcoming nature, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, in West Milford, New Jersey. Born on September 19, 1957, in Jersey City, New Jersey. Anthony lived a life marked by quiet strength and an enduring dedication to his family.

A man of few words, Anthony’s gentle demeanor and calm presence put those around him at ease. He was deeply loved by his family, especially cherishing the time he spent with his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. His role as a beloved husband, father, and grandfather defined his life, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.

Anthony was predeceased by his wife, Paula Squillante, his parents Thomas and Rosemarie Squillante and older brother Tommy Squillante. Though no longer with us, their memory remains a cherished part of his story.

He is survived by his devoted children: Krystle Squillante and Anthony Squillante Jr., along with his daughter-in-law Caitlin Squillante. Also surviving are his sons George Tallmadge and Richard Tallmadge, and his daughter-in-law Danielle Tallmadge and his little brother John Squillante and sister in-law Susan Squillante. 

Anthony's beloved grandchildren who carry forward his spirit include Makenzie Squillante, Thomas Morton, Madison Morton, Anthony Squillante III, Sean Abernathy and Ashley Abernathy, Paige Tallmadge, Richie Tallmadge, Evan Tallmadge, and Trey Tallmadge.

A memorial service to honor Anthony’s life will be held on June 19, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, located at 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne, NJ 07002. Friends and family are invited to gather and remember a man whose quiet generosity and loving heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Anthony L. Squillante Sr.’s life will be remembered with profound respect and affection by those who were privileged to be part of his journey, as his memory continues to inspire and comfort his family and friends.
