DELLA SERRA, Antonio, 82, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Monday September 30th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Antonio was born in Monteferrante, Italy and has lived in Bayonne for many years. He worked as a Fork Lift Operator for Best Foods Corp in Bayonne for many years before retiring. He was a beloved husband to Loretta (nee:Berardinelli), a loving father to Nick and his wife Kara, and to Lisa Schwedhelm and her husband Paul. Cherished grandfather to Lily and Lia Schwedhelm. A dear brother to Franco Della Serra and Maria Mancini. Antonio was predeceased by his parents Nicola and Rosaria (nee:DeFabio) Della Serra and his sister Concetta Cuccinotta.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd St.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday October 3rd at 9:30am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Thursday October 3rd beginning 8:30am prior to mass. In lieu of flowers donations in Antonio's memory may be made to the family who will then send the donations to the Shrine of Padre Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy. Envelopes will be provided at the Funeral Home.
