Arturo A. Novicio passed away on October 2, 2026, at Jersey City Medical Center. He was 92. He was born on November 11, 1933, in Baler, Quezon, Philippines.
Arturo will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresita Novicio; his son, Ron Novicio, and Ron’s spouse, Griska; and his daughter, Maria Rivera, and her partner, Ryan Conley. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Brandon Rivera, Matthew Novicio, Madison Novicio, and Michael Novicio, who were an important part of his family’s joy and legacy.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lamberto, Bayani, and Florante, and by his sister, Dalisa. Their memory remained part of the story of his life and the family that now carries his remembrance forward.
Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of Arturo’s life at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne, NJ 07002, on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A second visitation will be held there on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with the procession departing at 9:45 AM. A Mass will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Vincents Church, 979 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002. Graveside services will then be held at 11:45 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031.
As his family and friends mourn his passing, they also celebrate a long life and the enduring bonds of family he leaves behind. May Arturo A. Novicio be remembered with affection, gratitude, and peace.
