Ashley is a bright shining star, who brought fairy dust and smiles to all who knew her. Known for her wicked sense of humor, contagious laughter and sense of adventure, Ashley was born April 14, 1986 to parents, Stanley Allen Moate and Vicki Kay Lamont Moate. And is little-big sister, confidant and best friend to her brother, Christopher (CB) Michael Moate. Ashley married the love of her life, Eric Robert Manno on May 22, 2010 after 7 year long romance. They shared a home in Bayonne, New Jersey, raising a furry family of Jack Russell Terriers, Tiny; Diesel and Dakota. Ashley loved chopping the hair off her Barbie dolls and doing what she loved best, she became a professional hair stylist. She worked at Salon X in Jersey City, New Jersey for many years practicing her craft. Forever 28, Ashley is remembered as a loving wife, daughter and sister who believed in family first, a fierce and loyal friend and a pure joy to be around. She loved entertaining, partying and hanging with her "peeps", shopping with a passion and an avid Steelers and Cubs fan. She and Eric traveled extensively, she liked going to the beach, tanning, making gem phone cases for her friends, driving her Dodge Challenger, making up and singing weird little songs and generally making people smile. Ashley is survived by beloved husband, Eric; parents, Stan and Vicki; brother Chris and his wife Jane Moate; Mother-In-Law, Carol Manno, Brother-In-Law, Michael (Mikey) Manno; Maternal Grandparents, Richard and Joyce Lamont; Paternal Grandparents, George and Ruth Moate and her God Father S. Lon Lewis and wife Jan. Numerous uncles, aunts, in-laws and cousins including: Dustin and Amber Nowak & Family; Karin Monroe, Uncle Andrew, Dirk Lamont; Joan Manno, Ralph Manno; Onica Moate and Nancy Carroll-Moate; Christopher Manno; Leon and Laura Chrapkowski & Family; John and Bernadette Chrapkowski & Family; Doug and Lisa Hynoski & Family; Kay Van Etten & Family; Sidney Moate & Family; Tracy Moate; Rosemary Moate; Patrick, Peter, Nancy, and Emily Holme and many more. And endless list of life-long friends and acquaintances . Ashley joins her Father-In-Law, Robert Manno and her cousin, Liz Hynoski Visitation will be Sunday June 8th from 2:00 to 7:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd) Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Monday at 9:30am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Bayonne, with family and friends gathering at the funeral home beginning at 8:30am. Cremation to follow at Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ashley's memory to the family. Envelopes are provided at the funeral home.
