NICHOLSON, Betty J., (nee:Lanham), 77, of Jersey City passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday September 15, with her loving family by her side. Betty worked as a supervisor most of her life for Emerson Radio Co., in Secaucus, NJ. She was a beloved wife to Henry, a loving mother to Henry and his wife Sheila, a dear sister to Jesse Lanham and his wife Maddie. Betty was predeceased by her parents Levi and Eloise (nee:Singleton) Lanham, her brothers Edward Daugett, Edgar "Bobby" Daugett, Thomas, Ronnie, and Bernard Lanham, and her sister Emma Lee Lanham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00am and Prayer Service immediately following on Saturday September 27th at the House of Prayer Church, 641 South 2nd Street, Plainfield, NJ. Interment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
