Carl Maffucci was born in Bayonne at 75 W. 49th street. His mother died during his birth and Carl lived there with his father and two brothers Michael and Anthony. None of them had any children and they all predeceased him.Carl served  in the US Army in Korea during the war in 1952-54 and worked in an office for years before becoming a professional chef.  He was also a member of The Young at Heart Senior Club in Bayonne for many years.  He married Joan Rackley on Dec 15, 1979 and was widowed in 1992.  He later worked at and retired from Community Nursery School in 2012 and in 2016 moved from Bayonne to Long Valley, NJ  to live with his niece Denise Rackley and her family. iHe later moved to Colonial Manor in Hackettstown, NJ and resided there during the last year of his life. Carl will be interred with his father and brother at Holy Name Cemetery in North Arlington on Monday December 28th 2020.  All services are private.
