Carmen Arias, 81, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Saturday September 28th at the Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen. Carmen worked as a payroll clerk supervisor for the MTA in New York City before retiring. In life she was a beloved daughter of Maria Dolores and Juan Arias and mother to Virgilio Suero and his wife Mariela, Javier Garcia and his wife Sandy. Cherished grandmother to Angelica and Isabella Suero, Javier, Savier and Xavier Garcia. Carmen is also survived by two great grandchildren Karmella and Jabari Benson and four beloved siblings Irma, Gilberto Rafael, Freddy and José Manuel.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 2nd from 5:00 to 9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Prayer Service will be offered on Thursday October 3rd at 11:30am at the funeral home, with family and friends welcomed to the funeral home beginning at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
