NUNEZ, Carmen (nee:Padin). 87, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 18th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Carmen was born in Spain and has lived in Bayonne for the past 70 years. Carmen was a beloved wife to the late Matias Nunez Serrano, a loving mother to Carmen Petty and her husband Louis, the late Antonio Nunez and his wife Denise, Mary Ann Pawlowski and her husband Frank, Joseph Nunez and his wife Sharon and to Christina Sykowski and her husband George. Carmen is also survived by her cherished fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her parents Serafin and Rosario (nee:Bacelar) Padin.

Visitation will be held Monday August 20th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday August 21st at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Tuesday morning beginning at 9:45am, prior to mass.
