OLANDER, Carole (nee:Patrick) 75, of Bayonne formerly of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 11th at the Jersey City Medical Center. Carole worked for the Provident Bank in Jersey City in the Data Processing loan department for 29 years before retiring. Carole also volunteered her time at the Sunflower Adult Medical Daycare Center, Jersey City AARP, Hudson Ability Bowling League, and an associate member of the Hudson County Social Club of the Blind Inc. Carole was a beloved mother to John and Cheryl Olander, and her extended family Martha Gallo and her late husband Anthony. She was predeceased by her parents George and Elsie (nee:Nilan) Patrick and her brother Thomas Patrick. Visitation will be held on Monday February 17th from 1:30 to 5:30pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Prayer Service will be offered at 4:00pm at the funeral home during the visitation. Cremation to follow will be private, and her cremains will be inurned with her parents at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers donations in Carole's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, with a link on this website under "Memorial Donations" and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
