GOMEZ, Catalina, (nee: Basile) 66, of Bayonne passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday June 22, with her family by her side. Catalina was born in Irsena Matera, Italy and has lived in Bayonne most of her life. She was the owner/operator of Broadway Dry Cleaners in Bayonne for many years. Catalina was a beloved wife to the late Jose A. Gomez, a loving mother to Claudio and his wife Ann and to Paula Cherchio and her husband Richard. A cherished grandmother to Liliana Cherchio, and to Angela and Claudio Joseph Gomez. A dear sister to Giuseppe and Victor Basile. She was predeceased by her parents Vito and Maria (nee: Carminio) Basile. Visitation will be Tuesday June 24th from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A prayer service will be at 9:30 am during the visitation. Entombment to follow the visitation at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
