Caterina Delapa (nee: Perri) – 100, of Bayonne passed peacefully at her residence surrounded by loved ones on Sunday February 2 ^nd 2020, she was 100.  Born in San Vito, Italy,  Caterina worked as a seamstress for many years before retiring. She was a loving and selfless woman to both her family & friends and gave her all to everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed by all.  Caterina was the devoted wife to the late Giuseppe Francesco Delapa and the loving mother to Josephine Valentino, Anthony Delapa & Catherine Delapa.  She was also cherished grandmother to Chris Ann Weening (the late Charles Andrew), Frances Barreto (Noel), Paul Valentino & Catherine Barile (Christopher) and great-grandmother to Catherine, Charles, Christian & Connor Weening, Annalisse & Nicholas Barreto and Joseph & Matthew Barile.  Surviving Caterina are sister Gina Bilotta and a host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation is Thursday February 6 ^th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33 ^rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Friday February 7 ^th at St. John Paul II Parish in Bayonne, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9AM.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
