Catherine Rose Borrello (nee: Marchetta) - of Bayonne passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by loving family on Tuesday October 20th 2015, she was 90 ½ years young. Born in Jersey City, Catherine worked many jobs in and around Bayonne throughout her life and was an avid member of UNICO, The St. Andrew's Rosarians, The Holy Family Mother's Club and The St. Andrew's Bridgemen Mother's Club. She was the devoted wife to the late Dominick Borrello and loving mother to Denise Sangee (Charles), Carol Tocci (the late William) and Mary Cerreta (Dana). Catherine was also the beloved grandmother to Michael Sangee (Alicia), Lisa Goworek (John), Dawn Harsch (Robert), Danielle Tocci, Catherine Rose Cerreta (Brian Kushnir) and Michael Cerreta (Jennifer), as well as being the cherished great grandmother to Sofia & Emma Sangee, Jade & Kyle Goworek, Ashley Harsch (Michael McDonald) and Connor Harsch. Catherine was pre-deceased by her brothers Peter, James, Frederick and Anthony and her sisters, Rose, Ada and Kate. Surviving Catherine are her sisters Ann and Angelina and her niece Angelina, as well as a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and dear friends. A visitation will be held today Thursday October 22nd from 4-8 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday October 23rd commencing at 11 am at St. Andrew's Church, 125 Broadway (at 4th St.) in Bayonne with everyone welcome to gather at the funeral home beginning at 10 am. Cremation to follow will be private and Catherine will later be laid to rest with her husband Dominic at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. In lieu of any flowers the family requests that donations be made in Catherine's memory to her favorite charity, which was St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
