GIANNOBILE, Charles, 86, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday June 28th at St. Ann's Nursing Home in Jersey City. Charles was born in Monteferrante, Italy and has lived in Bayonne for many years. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for Lockheed Martin for many years before retiring. Charles also proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a Beloved husband to Anna, loving father to Carla Giannobile and Joan and her husband Izak Maitin. Cherished grandfather to Nicolas, Zeke and Samuel. Dear brother to Eugene and Blanche. Charles was predeceased by his parents Nicolas and Carmella (nee:DiFabio) Giannobile. His favorite pastimes were listening to music, playing chess and gardening with his wife Anna. Visitation will be Monday July 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd) Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Tuesday July 3rd at 9:30am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Bayonne. Entombment to follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge, NJ.
