Charles William Keating – 86, of Union NJ, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by loving family on Friday December 9th 2016. Born in Staten Island NY, Charles served his country proudly as a US Marine during the Korean Conflict. He was the devoted husband to the love of his life, the late Anne (nee: Provenzano) Keating whom he married on June 12, 1955 in Bayonne NJ, where they raised their family together. Charles was the beloved father to Louis Keating and wife Loretta, Marianne Wiatroski and husband Mark and to Charles "Billy" Keating. He was loving grandfather to Louis Keating Jr. and wife Ashley, Joseph Keating and wife Ashly, Thomas Keating, Cathryn Olson and husband Nick and to Steven Wiatroski and was cherished great-grandfather to Kane & Grady. Charles was also survived by a host of other loving family members and dear friends. Visitation will be Tuesday December 13th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rdSt.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday December 14th at St. Mary's Church, 326 Avenue C in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home beginning at 10AM. Interment with military honors will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield NJ.
