HAGGERTY, Daniel R., 35, lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away suddenly on Thursday January 23rd at the Bayonne Medical Center. Dan was a graduate of St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City and had attended St. Peter's College. He was also a graduate of American Academy McAllister Institute, in New York City. After graduation he earned his funeral director's license in the State of New Jersey. He was last employed at Bergen Funeral Services in Hasbrouck Heights, and worked at various funeral homes in Bayonne and Jersey City. Dan was the devoted son of Robert B. and Patricia M.(nee:Faughey) Haggerty, cherished nephew of Kathy and Ed Marceski, Frank and Terry Faughey and Jim and Joan Haggerty. A loving cousin of Brian and Kevin Marceski, Michael Faughey and Suzanne Lesher. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Bernie aka "Boogs", and many friends. All who knew him, knew him as a kind, gentle, and a generous person. Visitation will be tomorrow Wednesday January 29th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd, (at 33rd), Bayonne. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday January 30th at 10:00am at the funeral home with a mass at 11:00am following at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Bayonne. Entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dan's memory to St. Mary's Food Pantry. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
