STEIGER, Deanna (nee:Barsolona) 85 of Bayonne, NJ., passed away peacefully at Mattison Crossing at Manalapan Avenue in Freehold. Deanna was a Registered Nurse at Bayonne Medical Center for 35 years and also worked for the Kearny Correctional Facility in Kearny, NJ., for 10 years. Deanna was a devout parishioner at St. Henry's Church. She was a beloved mother to Melissa Milone and her husband Derrick, and to Maria Kaniewski and her fiancé Peter Papcun. A cherished grandmother to Lindsay Angiuli and her husband Sam, Travis Milone and his wife Rachel, Kyle Milone, and to Nicholas and Danielle Kaniewski. A great grandmother to Aria and Luke Angiuli, Nikko Abbott, and Kacey and Rockie Milone. Deanna was predeceased by her parents Mary (nee:Sclafane) and Benjamin Barsolona Sr., and her brother Benjamin Barsolona Jr. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 19th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday March 20th at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Private cremation to follow, and her cremains will be inurned at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City at a later date. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home Thursday morning beginning at 9:45am, prior to mass.
