Delfina Gomez (nee: Puerto) - of Bayonne, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday February 19th 2015, she was 98 years old. Born in Honduras, Delfina was an active member of The Sacred Heart Society of St. Mary's Parish in Jersey City. She was the devoted wife to the late Sebastian Gomez and loving mother to Jose, Jorge and Velasca Gomez, Olga Ayala and Maria Tome as well as 11 other children who have pre-deceased her. Surviving Delfina are too many grand, great grand and great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mention, but all will miss her. A visitation will be held on Sunday February 22nd from 5-9 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated promptly at 9:30 am at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church as there will be no services at the funeral home in the morning.
