Dionisio Franco-Casanova, 83, of Bayonne (formally of Ezaro, Spain), passed away peacefully on January 3, 2017, surrounded by his family.  He was a member of The Spanish-American Citizens Club and lived in Bayonne for over 45 years. Dionisio is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Maria Carmen (nee: Beiro).  Also surviving Dionisio are his daughter Maria and her family, Alejandro, Olivia and Alexandro Gonzalez and Dionisio's son Jose and his family, Suzanne, Maia and Marcus Franco, as well as his two brothers Joaquin & Roberto in Spain.  Visitation will be held Thursday January 5th at Migliaccio Funeral Home in Bayonne, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) from 7-9 pm.  His funeral and burial will be a private ceremony in his native Spain.
