Dolores Joan Dalton (nee Podraza) of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at home. Dolores was born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey and was the beloved daughter of the late Tessie (Antos) and Karol Podraza.

In 1961, Dolores married the love of her life, Robert E. Dalton, in Winston–Salem, North Carolina. Together they had four children and moved to Colonia, New Jersey where they lived for over 30 years before retiring to Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey. She was the Office Manager for Kristen Distribution in Elizabeth, New Jersey for 22 years. Dolores was also a member of the Osborn Island Residents Association.

Dolores' joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, as well as enjoying the company of friends, playing Mahjong, cooking and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert E. Dalton, four children: Kathleen O'Brien and her husband Daniel, Cynthia Dalton, Robert C. Dalton and David Dalton and his wife Louisa, ten grandchildren: Lyndsay O'Brien Gaffney and her husband Jordan, Danielle O'Brien, Tara Helfer, Shannon Helfer, Melissa Helfer, Matthew O'Brien, Allison Helfer, Tessa Helfer, Alexander Dalton and Sofia Dalton, one great-grandchild: McKenna Gaffney, a sister: Lorraine Podraza and countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be Monday January 2, 2017 at Migliaccio Funeral Home at 851 Kennedy Blvd. Bayonne, New Jersey from 1:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Family will gather on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Funeral Home beginning at 10:00am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Paul II Parish at Mt Carmel Church on East 22nd Street, Bayonne, New Jersey at 11:00am. Burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, in Memphis, Tennessee.
