Serpica, Domenica "Mickey" (nee: Scrudato) - of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Friday January 11, 2013, she was 78. Born in Jersey City, Mickey was an active supporter of The Bayonne Babe Ruth League where she was the only woman to receive their coveted Bernie Goldwebber Award. Mickey was the devoted wife of Eugene Serpica and the loving mother to Michael and his wife Audrey, Eugene and Robert. She was the cherished grandmother of Ryan, Maxx, Eric and Alyson Serpica and is survived by her 4 sisters Louise Cooney and her husband Chris, Mary Sobel, Carmella Costanza and Jenny Aurelio and her husband Emilio as well as countless, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday January 14th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday January 15th at 10:30 AM at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with a private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Mickey's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
