On July 5, 2022 Domenick Scibetta left this Earth to join his Savior in Heaven after battling kidney failure. He was born on Oct. 9, 1933 in Bayonne, New Jersey. Many people knew him as Dom or Donny. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Vitale Scibetta, his brother Frank Scibetta, his sisters Fran (Alfoncina) DeAngelo, Jean Vasilantone, Mae Annetta Pagano and sadly too many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is survived by his wife Audrey Scibetta (Glancy), his daughter Sandra Mattli, his son Dominick Scibetta, his granddaughter Valerie Mattli, grandson Cedrick Mattli, and grandson Jack Scibetta.

Domenick lived most of his life in Bayonne, NJ and his last 18 years in Fairview, TX. In his younger years, Domenick apprenticed as a butcher at Johnny's Market in Jersey City for several years. He then became a beautician and owned/operated Fashion Flair Beauty Salon, Ave C in Bayonne. Domenick was a man of many talents and in his later 30s operated a painting and remodeling business. At the same time he owned and operated Sol's Candy Shop on Avenue C, Bayonne.  Domenick was a people person - nothing gave him more joy than sharing a cup of coffee with a friend, cooking holiday meals, playing a prank on someone he loved, playing cards or just having a good laugh.

Domenick will have a viewing at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd.(at 33rd St.) in Bayonne, NJ on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, from 4-8pm.  A funeral mass will be celebrated for Domenick on Wednesday Jul 13 ^th at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, 82 W.29th St in Bayonne, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30am. He will then be laid to rest on Wednesday July 13 ^th at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington, NJ.
