Domenico Mugrace - of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 14, 2014, he was 93 years old. Born in Cardinale Italy, Domenico owned and operated Mugrace's Pizzeria in Bayonne for many years before retiring. Domenico was fond of gardening, cooking and making his special homemade wine. He was the devoted husband to the late Giovanna (nee: Iozzo) Mugrace and loving father to Dante Mugrace and partner Mark and to Robert Mugrace and wife Debra. Domenico was also the cherished grandfather to Jennie and Sarah Mugrace. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Salvatore "Sam", Francis, Nicola, Catherina and Rosa and is survived by his brother Giovanni and wife Antoinette as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday January 17th from 3-7 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, January 18th beginning at 10 AM and departing to Holy Cross Cemetery at 11 AM where a committal service will be held. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Domenico's memory to The American Heart Association, envelopes available at funeral home.
