RIZZO Jr., Dominic "Riz", 70, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday October 1st, with his family by his side. Dominic worked for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority in the tolls department (14C) for many years before retiring. He was very proud of his Italian Heritage, and was a very Patriotic American. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing all his life, and was an avid baseball fan, but most of all his love for his family came first. Dominic was a loving father to Jacquelyn Rizzo, Jaime Koerner and her husband Barnes, Joelene Torres, and to Nicholas Flett. A cherished grandfather to Lyndsay (Blair), Damien, and Chastity. Great grandfather to Freya Quinn. A dear brother to Barbara "Sissy" Banacki. He is also survived by his niece Chrissy Ellerson (Brian), and  nephew Pat Banacki (Toni), and many great nieces and nephews. Dominic was predeceased by his parents Dominic and Jean J. (nee:Kozacki) Rizzo Sr. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 6th from 3:00 to 7:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday October 7th at 11:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Bayonne. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00am, prior to mass.
