Dominick Buonavolonta, of Naples FL, formerly of Bayonne, NJ passed away on Sunday February 25, 2024 after a brief illness. Dominick was self employed for most of his life owning Don's Hairdressing in Bayonne for many years followed by various food vendor businesses in Bayonne. He was an avid music lover and dancer, as well as accordion player and championship bocci player. His favorite song was My Way, which correlated well with his life's passions. Dominick was the devoted husband to Cecilia Buonavolonta (nee:Bello) who passed away less than 3 months prior to Dominick, the loving father to Roseann Nicaretta(Gino), Anthony Buonavolonta(Rita), James Buonavolonta(Elaine), and to Kim Introna(Michael), the loving grandfather to Gino Nicaretta III, Jessica Kuchta(Joseph), Dominic Nicaretta(Jolie), James Buonavolonta Jr, Joshua Buonavolonta, Gianna Introna, Michael Introna Jr, Rose Introna & Sophia Buonavolonta; and the cherished great grandfather to Francesca Kuchta and brother to Jeanne Stanton(William). Dominick was pre-deceased by his daughter Donna Marie Buonavolonta and his grandchild Kristie Rose Nicaretta.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Henry's Church in Bayonne on Saturday March 16th at 9:30 am, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in N. Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
