SWALLOW, Donald Sr. "Grizz", 72, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Sunday November 11th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Donald worked as a machinist for the National Envelope Co, in Union, NJ. for many years before retiring. He also served his country proudly in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. He was a beloved husband to the late Dolores (nee:Tobias), a loving father to Donald Swallow Jr., and his wife Chiara, and Diane Rosig and her husband John. A cherished grandfather to Aiden Swallow, and Sabrina and Steven Manthe. A dear brother to Frank Swallow and his wife Penny. Donald was also predeceased by his parents Cassie (nee:Fraser) and Frank Swallow Sr., and his sister Doris Dziamba. Visitation will be Thursday November 15th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A prayer service will be held at 5:30pm also on Thursday evening, and the presentation of the American Flag by the U.S. Army at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donald's memory to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, 4901 Main Street, Suite 200 Kansas City, MO. 64112-2634. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
