Donna Maria LoScrudato, 53, departed from our world on Thursday Dec. 25th, 2015.

She is survived by her loving parents Francesco and Carmela LoScrudato; siblings Rosalie and partner Tammy, Angelo, Frank and wife Ana Carolina; loving aunt to Francesco, Annabella, Angelo Jr., Kaitlin, Hunter, Matteo, Aidan and Ana Giulia;

Born and raised in Bayonne, graduated from Holy Family Academy and earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts Communication Design & Technology from NJCU. She was Director of Art at Macy's Home Store in NYC.

Donna's artistry reached beyond her work… it was truly her passion. She created artwork under her company Gabbiano Design, published a collection of poetry "Muscia di Una Vole Senza Canto", used her photography to share her journeys around the world, and expressed herself through numerous paintings and poetry. Her talents were numerous and diverse. An accomplished tennis player and a pioneer of women's soccer in the late 80's, competing in men's Bayonne Soccer league. In addition she coached girls youth soccer in Bayonne and inspired many young girls to compete at High School and College levels.

Donna enjoyed travelling and foreign cultures. She was fluent in Italian and Sicilian dialects. She travelled throughout the world, and gave her time to help others in need including with Habitat for Humanity in Portugal and Mexico.

Donna was a force of positivity and serenity in our lives. Her contagious laughter, unconditional love, leadership, bravery and adventure will be sorely missed.

A visitation for Donna will be held on Tuesday December 29th from 4-8 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday December 30th beginning at 10:30 am at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with everyone welcome to gather at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 am. Entombment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery Mausoleum in Jersey City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Donna's memory to: the Susan G. Komen Fight Against Breast cancer ( www.komen.org ) and/or Habitat for Humanity ( www.habitat.org ).
