CALACINO, Edith, 101, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 22nd at the Bayonne Medical Center. Edith was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and has lived in Bayonne for many years. She worked for Western Electric in Kearny for 49 years before retiring. Edith is survived by her sister, Eileen Colacino, and her sisters in law Tsuenko Colacino and Cathy Colacino. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nephews. Edith was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Mary (nee:Astorino) her brothers Benny Colacino, Louis Colacino (T/L Helen), Arthur Colacino, Eugene Colacino and her sisters Gloria Jasolosky (T/L Charles), and Jeanette Obrenski (T/L Edward).
Visitation will be held on Sunday April 25th from 2:00-6:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday April 26th at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Family and friends are welcomed to the Funeral Home on Monday beginning at 9:45am, prior to mass.
