PARADA, Edward, 88, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 29th at Bayonne Medical Center. Edward was born in Ashley, Pennsylvania and had lived in Bayonne for many years. He worked as a cable manufacturer for the General Cable Co. in Bayonne for many years before retiring. Edward also served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a beloved husband to Marie (nee:Tassone), a loving father to Linda Durbin and her fiance Joe Miksza, and Elaine Latif. Cherished grandfather to Matthew Latif and his fiance Maureen Bioni, Nicole Latif and her fiance Jeff Ritchey, and Brielle Latif. Great grandmother to Tyler DeRoche, and Alex, Stephanie, and Jessica Ritchey. Edward was also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Ella (nee:Beara) Parada. Visitation will be Friday August 31st from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Saturday September 1st at 9:30am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Bayonne. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Edward's memory.
