Edward Petrosky Sr. - a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Sunday February 23rd, he was 87. A WWII Navy Veteran and employee for the US Navy Material Transportation Office who received The Meritorious Unit Commendation for distinguished service from 1986 -1989. Edward was the devoted husband to Mildred (nee: Verga) and loving father to Edward Jr. and wife Marianne and to the late Karyn Petrosky. Edward is also the beloved grandfather to Alexis Isabelle and Paige Elizabeth Petrosky. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Walter Jr., George, Wanda, Amy, Helen & Loretta and is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousin and friends. A visitation will be held today Monday, February 24th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday February 25th at 10 AM at St. Vincent's Church, 979 Avenue C in Bayonne with the family gathering at the funeral home beginning at 9 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington.
