Elena (Elaine) Cantelmi of Bayonne, New Jersey passed away peaceful, in her home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Elena was a resident of Bayonne for more than 20 years. She worked for a dental school in Newark for 30 years before retirement. She was a fashionable and stylish, woman who had a impressive collection of purses, shoes and jewelry. Elena was a thoughtful and kind hearted person, always reaching out to her family on a birthday or holiday.

Elena was born in Jersey City, the 5th of 7 children. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Helen, her brother Anthony, and sisters Gerry and Nancy. She is survived by her brother Paul Cantelmi and wife Iris, sisters Marie Waite, Frances DeSiano and many loving nieces, nephews and long- time friend, Nick Sileno. She will be missed by all who knew her. Interment will be on Thursday July 6, 2023 at 1:00pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
