Elizabeth "Betty" Heffernan (nee: Videtti) - of Jackson NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Saturday October 4th 2014, she was 89. Born in Bayonne where she resided most of her life, Elizabeth was the devoted wife to the late Francis J. Heffernan and the beloved mother to Betty Ann DiSanto and husband Bruce and to Francis Heffernan and wife Peggy. Elizabeth was also the loving grandmother to Bill Heffernan and wife Kelly, Jim Heffernan and Eileen Swindle and husband Shawn. She was also the cherished great grandmother to Kendall & Sean Heffernan and Emma Swindle. Surviving Elizabeth are a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 7th from 9 -10:30 am at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne with a funeral mass to be celebrated immediately following at St. Henry's Church, 645 Avenue C in Bayonne to commence promptly at 10:45 am. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Elizabeth's memory to Compassionate Care of NJ.
