Elsa Melin (nee: del Pilar Gonzalez Imbarguen) - of Bayonne passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Saturday November 7th 2015, she was 76. Born in Chimbote Peru, Elsa was an avid animal lover, a member of Assumption Parish Choir and a local music teacher for over 20 years. She was the devoted wife to Roger Melin and beloved stepmother to Gregory Melin and his wife Mary and step-grandmother to their son Connor. Surviving Elsa are her brother Jaime Gonzalez and his wife Elizabeth and her nephews Jaime Jr. and Luis Gonzalez as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends both here and in Peru. Visitation is today, Monday November 9th from 5-9 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday November 10th beginning at 10:30 am at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30 am. Private cremation will follow.
