Emanuela Lamela 86 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown, NJ. Born in Sofán, Spain, she was the loving daughter of the late Agustin Vazquez and Baltasara Fernandez.  She worked for many years as a seamstress and her daughters recall endless hours of measuring for Christmas and Easter dresses.  Emanuela is survived by her adoring children, James Lamela, Fatima Tobon, Sara Veloso, and Jesus Lamela; her cherished grandchildren Joseph, Hollyann, Anthony, Alexander, Nicholas, Lucas, and Henry; and her sister Dolores Vazquez.  She was predeceased by her son Joseph John Lamela and her siblings Sergio Vazquez (her twin brother), Josefa Vazquez, and Agustin Vazquez.  She is also survived by a host of loving family members and friends. Emanuela will best be remembered for her devout faith and her eccentric wardrobe.
