CHERCHIO, Eric, 77, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Sunday August 21st at the Bayonne Medical Center. Eric was a co-owner of Parts Unlimited, with his brother Joe. He also worked for many years as a carpenter at Cutting Edge Construction Co., with his two sons, and for James Forgione Construction Co., with his uncle, all in Bayonne. Eric was a beloved husband to Lois (nee: Locke), a loving father to Rick and his fiancee Monica, Mark and his wife Mary, and to Ronnie Veverka and her husband John. Cherished grandfather to E.J., Nicholas, Amber, Caitlin, Alexa, Trey, Olivia, and Ava. Dear brother to Joseph Cherchio. Eric was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Susan (nee:LoBuono) Cherchio, and his brother Chris Cherchio.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 24th, from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Thursday August 25th at 11:00am at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Andrew's Church, Bayonne. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home beginning at 10:00am on Thursday. In lieu of flowers donations in Eric's memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
